The City of Hazleton, Borough of West Hazleton, and Hazle Township are working together to create a multi-municipal comprehensive plan.​

A comprehensive plan is an official document that municipalities (like cities, boroughs, and townships) use to make policy and planning decisions.

Pennsylvania state law provides guidance about how comprehensive plans should be created and used.
